First off, a little bit about this podcast.
This podcast is designed to be a deep dive into the Christian faith and follows the gospel. There are many “churches” that claim to be Christian but teach false gospel or doctrine. Some of these organizations teach false doctrine on purpose, others mean well but have lost their way by not centering their message in the gospel. We hope that our conversations will clear up some of these false teachings and overall false information about Christians. But more importantly than that, we truly seek to share the gospel with all who will hear. As Christians, we are passionate about spreading the Word. We can’t change hearts; only God can do that. What we can do is lay out our best case for Christianity and hopefully change your mind.
What this podcast is not:
This podcast is not intended to attack, disparage, or in any other manor, put down other beliefs or religions. There is enough of that in the world already. We don’t believe in attacking the beliefs of others.
This podcast is not intended to attack, disparage, or in any other manor, put down any groups of people or individuals. True Christians believe that all people, all individuals are made in the image of God and the true measure of a Christian heart is in how much we love other people. Christ loved all people unconditionally when he walked the earth as man and continues to love all people unconditionally as Lord and Savior in heaven. To hate or shun any group of people or individuals is fundamentally anti-Christian.
This podcast is not political. The gospel guides our hearts and actions and through the gospel, Christians formulate their worldview. This worldview helps guide our politics but we are not a political commentary podcast.
Next, a brief bit about the hosts:
Robert is an associate pastor at a church in North Carolina. He has the insight and training to keep our conversations fully grounded in the gospel and is easily the best speaker of us. The wealth of knowledge and resources at Robert’s disposal is invaluable to our podcast’s mission.
Zach has extensive seminary training and is the leader of a small group at a church in North Carolina. In this role, Zach knows how to build community and foster conversation and discussion around topics related to Christianity and our culture.
Bryan is not a pastor and does not have any formal training. Bryan will try to act as the voice of the audience, thinking of questions and fostering discussions that our listeners may have.
Along the way, we will have guests on the show to help provide more insight and variety to the conversations.
We aren’t performers and are not professional podcasters. None of us have any podcasting experience before this. We hope to become better communicators as we get more experience with this podcast so please hang in there with us as we learn and grow along side you. We are not sponsored or affiliated with any group or organization. We are just three guys talking about the gospel and sharing with all of you. God bless.
